Vision (How do we see our mission being done)

As the body of Christ and by the power of His Spirit, we will help people become healthy and
active in life in Jesus, fully engaging their personal life, family life and church life in:

1. The Word (worship, education, fellowship)

2. The Cross (dying to self/putting on Christ}

3. Service (serving Jesus/serving others}

4. Mission (sharing the Gospel of Jesus}

Purpose (Why we are doing the mission)

All people are spiritually lost without faith in Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23) God has chosen
us as the light of the world to make disciples of all people so that they might live healthy and
active lives in Jesus. (Matthew 28:18-20)

Core Values (The values we hold to as we do the mission)

• Christ-Centered All our teaching and serving is centered in Jesus Christ.

• Group Life We come together in small groups for the purpose of building community through
  ministry and encouragement.

• Gift Oriented Ministry We evaluate the unique strengths and gifts God gives each person in our
  church as we engage in ministry.

• Lutheran We base our identification with the Lutheran church on the Lutheran statements:

• Scripture alone. Grace alone and Faith alone.

• Effective Leadership We empower and equip leaders for dynamic ministry.

• Multi-generational We are a congregation with distinct generations peacefully serving together
  under one roof, one name and one leadership core.

• Relevant Ministry We creatively communicate the unchanging Gospel to people within their
  cultural context.

• Family-centered faith development. We are family-centered, church-supported in our God-
  given responsibility for faith development.

• Human Life We strongly believe in the sanctity of human life as a gift of God.

• Resource to the Larger Body of Christ We offer ourselves and our resources to the church beyond our walls for the purpose of connecting people to life in Jesus.
