January – A Place of Refuge – APOR provides Christ-centered advocacy services, housing and support to young women facing a crisis pregnancy. (Contact: Trish Kagerbauer at aplaceofrefuge@aol.com)

February -  House of Correction/Milwaukee - Chaplain Gary Ruckman is the only full-time Chaplain serving the 2000 inmates. He is responsible for direct pastoral care, worship services, Bible study classes, counseling and support to other staff. His ministry is vital to the inmates and the religious life of the institution. (GRuckman@MLWCNTY.com)

March - Voice of the Martyrs - an interdenominational organization with a vision for aiding Christians around the world who are being persecuted for their faith in Christ. (Contact: thevoice@vom-usa.org) 

April – Brazil Mission Society – The Brazil Mission Society’s mission is to share Christ with children and families in Brazil through support of the ministry of Igreja Evangelica Luterana do Brasil, doing this primarily through Christian education. May – Jeremiah Ministry – Jeremiah Ministry reaches out to the youth of Milwaukee’s inner city, serving their spiritual, social and physical needs, all with the peace that only Jesus can provide. (Contact: Linda Zick – jeremiahministry@choiceonemail.com)

June – Feed My Lambs -- This BLC ministry feeds the hungry by encouraging, supporting and facilitating the congregation's food and money contributions through prayer, planning and delivery of donations. We support four inner city food pantries--Gospel, Hope, Emmaus and Ebenezer.

July – Hmong Ministry – The Hmong Lutheran Outreach Ministry Congregation is designed to give Christ centered help to Laotian people in Sheboygan, Oshkosh, Manitowoc and Milwaukee. (Contact: Pastor Yia Vang at ntxoovyias@wi.rr.com)

August – Concordia Elementary School – The former Nazareth School is committed to the spiritual, intellectual and emotional development of the underprivileged children in the neighborhood, helping them prepare for future learning and service empowered by their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

September – Lutheran Special School – The ministry, in a Christ-centered environment, serves children with special learning difficulties, their schools, teachers and families. (Contact: Judy Schultz – 414.461.8500)

October – International Student Ministries – ISM’s objective is to train up foreign students as missionaries and to teach them how to go into other countries to share God’s word. (Contact: Carl & Karol Selle – cselle@uwsp.edu, www.isminc.org)

November – Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots U.S. - This independent organization assists the Christian Church to spread God’s saving grace in sparsely settled and geographically isolated regions of the U.S.  (Contact: Sue at sgebel@tds.net)

December – Milwaukee Rescue Mission – Serving the homeless population of Milwaukee’s inner city and those in need of food, clothing and shelter, and sharing the the Good News of Jesus Christ with all who enter their doors. (Contact: Mike at mike.olive@milmission.org)
