God Bless our Native Land

Our float this year added a human presence behind its flag exhibition.  It's a Grand Old LIVING Flag.  As you can see, it's made up of eight separate sections. Ken Mantz, a Brookfield Lutheran member, designed and prepared this unique parade entry.

Brookfield Lutheran's float portrays the early American pioneer spirit. The float's theme, God Bless Our Native Land, recalls the adventure of Lewis and Clark exploring the west dependant on God's help and the support of Native American tribes along the way.  The various renditions of American flags you see remind us to give thanks and praise to God for His undeserved love and mercy upon our nation for so many years.
