Almost finished house. Justin is the experienced roofer up on the roof, thank goodness!!!!

Last night, after we all got back from our sites, we decided to go and see two of the three sites from last years trip. We got some ice cream at a nearby corner shop. When we got back to the mission we had our nightly devotions, we gave our rockstars and "Yay God's.  This is a time when we reflect and recognize God's grace and presence during the events of that day.

Mr.Vechart using his excellent craft skills!!!Today we all finished our houses, and tomorrow we will be dedicating them to the people and to God by placing a cross on each one. Tonight we are having a celebration for the 4th of July, with a pinata! We are all well, healthy, and somewhat eager to get home. Craig showing much needed love to the children at the local orphanage when we brought VBS to them!!!

See you all soon!

 Hola,

All is well, everyone is staying healthy and we're all having a wonderful time.  We all got up and dressed nicely for church yesterday, and had a blast running around with the kids, a few of them were tickling everyone.  After church we went out for lunch and made it to the beach. Many of us were in the water jumping the waves.  Others were playing Frisbee, or building a sandcastle that we had to protect from the waves, Quite a few of us enjoyed laying on the beach in the sun.  Even with all the activities going on we were blessed not to have any injuries.  After all that Mrs. Dolan fed us a fantastic dinner.

The picture is of Pete and Andrew building the frames for the Houses.  We start construction today, and we're all very anxious and excited to get started!

God Bless,

Beth Taylor and the rest of us down here in sunny Mexico.

Hello Everyone at Home.

Our group of 35 made to to LA safely.  We were blessed with great van rentals that fit all our luggage.  Our trip to San Diego encounter much more traffic than anticipated.  We arrived in Tijuana around 8:30 PM (10:30 PM CST).  Then it was time to unpack, eat and spend some time in the Word.  Needless to say everyone slept really well.   Today we went to visit our home sites and meet our families.   We worked all afternoon gathering supplies, painting and cutting lumber.  We are off to the Taco Stand tonight and more group building and Bible Study,  The weather has been great,  Low 80's annd sunny.  We have been blessed with an incredible group who loves the Lord and is very flexible.   We are only 1/2 day behind schedule now which we are confident we will make up.  We ask for your prayers for our VBS.  We have yet to track down our 8 boxes we shipped in advance.  We also ask for your prayers for continued good health!

God's Blessings, Mary Lightbody DCE
