The purpose of the Missions Committee

To connect people to Life in Jesus through Mission work

The duties of the Missions Committee

Be good stewards of the gifts given to BLC and appropriate them to various missions and ministries.
Maintain relationships with BLC Personally Supported Missionaries
Schedule Mission Moments for each Mission of the Month, ususally the second Sunday.
Plan and promote one (1) hands-on service project per month
Plan and promote at least two (2) short-term mission trips per year, one international, one domestic.
Meets once a month.
