The Angel Tree

· Provide inner city schools & low-income families with generous donations of school supplies, Thanksgiving baskets (see Feed My Lambs), a Christmas meal and gifts.

Opportunities to serve include:

· Christmas Angel Tree - Assist with setting up the Angel Tree; Categorize items and ready them for delivery; Wrap and deliver Christmas gifts.

· School Supplies Collection - Categorize and deliver items.

· Donations of School Supplies and Christmas gifts:

· School supplies: loose leaf paper, spiral notebooks, glue sticks/glue, scissors, pencils, blue or black ink pens, divider tabs, 1 or 1 ½” binders, crayons and markers

· Christmas gifts: New Children’s and Adult size socks, underwear, hats, gloves, mittens and personal hygiene items (razors, soap, shampoo, etc.)

Needs 6-8 volunteers August–September and November-December.
